The production costs of carbon fiber enterprises decreased, but the prices remained at a low level for a long time, resulting in insufficient profit margins. On the supply side, in this month, 2,500 tons of new capacity was added in Zhejiang, and the overall industry's operating level remained stable. The supply remained sufficient. On the demand side, the demand atmosphere for downstream products remained dull. The enthusiasm for entering the market and purchasing was average. Although industries such as photovoltaics witnessed an "anti-crowding" trend, the demand for carbon fibers remained sluggish, with transactions mainly driven by necessity. In terms of imports and exports, the import quantities of carbon fiber fabrics, carbon fiber prepregs, carbon fibers, and other carbon fiber products in July all increased month-on-month.
