How to choose the nozzle of the water jet loom
1) Nozzle body and needle tip are engraved with <number marking> indicating the size.
(2) The nozzle is selected according to the type of weft, reed width, etc.
The U-shaped nozzle is a nozzle with a metal regulator integrated with the nozzle hole A. The metal stabilizer cannot be attached or detached.
Note 1) The needle tip is made of ceramic. When using, you should take extra care to avoid damage.
Note 2) During use, a monomer will adhere to the inside of the needle tip, so please clean it regularly.
Note 3) The needle tip should be used in a completely closed state
Selection criteria for needle tip
It is a rough goal that 5 weft yarns (knots) can pass through the inside of the needle mouth reliably.
Note) If a nozzle body that is not suitable for the thickness of the weft is used to match the needle nozzle, it will cause poor weft flying.
How to install the nozzle
1) Front and back direction
(1) Make the crank angle 270º.
(2) Adjust the nozzle holder bracket to make the front of the reed coincide with the center of the nozzle.
2) Up and down direction
With the opening device in the closed state, gently step on the pump foot pedal and adjust the nozzle holder so that the spray water can reach the center of the warp.
Adjustment of spray direction
1) Front and back direction
(1) Observe the timing of the contact between the reed and the weft through a stroboscope.
(2) Through the adjustment of the adjustment bolt, the contact timing is 280º～285º.
2) Up and down direction
(1) The cloth surface of the weaving area should be parallel to the flying weft.
(2) Use a stroboscope to align the opening on the power side, observe whether the weft yarn is flying in the center of the opening, and use the bolt to adjust accordingly.
