The WL680 Super-Start Rapier Loom has a maximum design speed of 420–720 rpm and a reed width range of 150–380 cm. It is suitable for weaving common fabrics made of cotton, linen, silk, and chemical fibers.
It adopts spatial four-bar linkage weft insertion, equipped with metal rapier heads and carbon-fiber rapier tapes, or single-side floating guide hooks and multilayer composite rapier tapes. Conjugate cam beat-up housed in box-type side frames ensures stable high-speed operation. 8-color electronic color selection; can be equipped with an electronic dobby or jacquard, up to 10,000 needles. Servo or switched reluctance electronic warp let-off and electronic take-up; weft density 1–120 picks/cm.
Hydraulic automatic pick finding and variable-speed weaving make slow operation easy. The machine features multi-computer parallel control and a touchscreen HMI, with functions such as positioning stop, automatic pick finding, bar compensation, fault diagnosis, and safety protection. Switched reluctance main motor, 1500 Nm / 3000 Nm, with strong power and fast response.
