Distinguish the skein from the edge of the edge weave:

Loom distinction
Rapier looms: Use rigid or flexible rapier heads, and belts to hold and guide the weft. In addition to being suitable for weaving plain and textured fabrics, rapier looms are characterized by easy color changing, are suitable for multi-color weft fabrics, and are suitable for the production of yarn-dyed, double-layer fleece fabrics, terry fabrics, and decorative fabrics.
Air-jet loom: The weft yarn is pulled by the compressed air jet, and the weft yarn is taken through the shed. The biggest feature of air-jet looms is fast speed and high labor productivity.
The advantages and disadvantages of grey cloth
1. The grey fabrics produced by jet machines generally have many varieties of fine-count yarns with higher grades, mainly light and thin fabrics; rapier machines generally have more varieties of coarse-counted yarns with lower grades, mainly heavy fabrics.
2. From the point of view of equipment, jet, and rapier are nothing more than weft insertion.
3. For grey fabrics of the same organization, the cost of raw materials is the same, and the weaving cost is lower. For example, for twill, the maximum speed of the jet can reach more than 800 rpm, and the arrow shaft is only about 180-200 rpm. The jet blocker can watch 10-12 units per person, while Up to 4-6 arrow shafts.
