Xining, Qinghai, October 15th (Reporter Qi Zengbei) According to the news released by Zhongfu Shenying Carbon Fiber Xining Co., Ltd. on the 15th, as the world's first high-altitude and largest single-site high-performance carbon fiber production base - the Zhongfu Shenying Qinghai Xining project with an annual production capacity of 25,000 tons of high-performance carbon fiber has achieved a clean energy utilization rate of over 76%, and the carbon emission per ton of product has reached the industry benchmark level.

Carbon fiber is a new type of high-tech material with a diameter of 5 to 7 micrometers and a carbon content of over 90%. It is widely used in aerospace, defense, transportation, energy, sports and leisure fields, and is known as "the king of new materials" and "black gold".
Zhang Jiagao, the deputy general manager of Zhongfu Shenying Carbon Fiber Xining Co., Ltd., introduced that compared with the traditional fossil energy power supply model, the large-scale use of green electricity has significantly reduced the carbon emissions per ton of product. "It can be said that 'green electricity substitution + process optimization' is the key to breaking through the 76% utilization rate of clean energy."
It is reported that this project utilizes green power resources and takes into account the high-altitude and low-temperature environment. It builds an efficient energy and resource utilization system. Through methods such as deep wastewater treatment and reuse, efficient utilization of waste gas heat, and resource-based disposal of solid waste, the "low-carbon and green" carbon fibers produced can be applied on a large scale in the fields of wind power equipment, hydrogen energy storage and transportation, etc., creating a "green and circular" industrial collaboration model.
Since the project went into operation, it has supplied nearly 50,000 tons of high-performance carbon fibers, and the products have been exported to many countries.
