From 2002 to 2012, he held the positions of chairman and general manager of Zhejiang Wanli Textile Machinery Co., Ltd., leading the company's technical staff to continuously innovate and create, developing the fifth-generation products of the shuttle loom, double winding machine, integrated high-speed bobbin machine, 4923 air-spun yarn machine, covered filament machine, high-speed blending machine, non-knitting warp machine, jacquard weaving machine, composite twisting machine, etc., covering multiple application fields such as ordinary fabric, household textiles, and industrial fabrics.
The products replaced imported products. Over the past 20 years, Wan Zuguang has been willing to focus on the research and development, innovation, intelligent transformation, and strategic layout for the sustainable development of the entire textile machinery industry in difficult and dangerous situations.
From 2012 to 2022, he held the positions of chairman and general manager of Zhejiang Wanli Textile Machinery Co., Ltd. and the president of the Key Enterprise Research Institute of Zhejiang Province. He led the company's R&D team to develop special shuttle looms and layout the research and development of special shuttle looms to meet the needs of various customers for special fiber products and special wide-width looms.
In 2018, the glass fiber shuttle loom and carbon fiber shuttle loom developed were the first in China to achieve domesticin the areas of shear of large filament brittle fibers, false warp axis feeding of warp and warp tension adjustment, and full rolling type fabric surface transportation for sparse and dense fabric weaving, and obtained 5 invention patents.
This product successfully replaced the German D0RNIER shuttle loom. The company's first production of ultra-wide gate-width shuttle loom achieved high-speed weaving of fabrics with a gate width of 5.4 meters (weaving speed reached 1600 meters per minute), and in areas such as the super-wide gate-width weft feeding mechanism and the elastic supporting structure of the movable rear beam, it obtained 2 invention patents.
This product successfully replaced the shuttle looms produced by Italian PICANOL Company and German DORNIER Company. It received 2 provincial science and technology progress awards, 2 awards for scientific and technological achievements of the China Textile Industry Association, and 1 award for scientific and technological achievements of the China Machinery Industry Association.
It obtained more than 20 invention patents. Through 20 years of efforts and innovation, Wanli has become a leader in the textile machinery industry. In 2021, it began to engage in the research and development of carbon fiber oxidation and carbonization production lines and raw silk production lines, etc., major equipment.
