1 Triboelectric voltage measurement (Rotary Statics) method
Principle: Under a certain tension condition, make the sample and the standard cloth rub against each other, and evaluate by the highest voltage and average voltage generated at this time. Note: When the electrostatic properties of the front and back sides of the sample are quite different, both sides should be measured.
2 Triboelectric charge measurement method
After the sample is triboelectrically charged, it is placed in a Faraday cylinder and the sum of the charged amount is measured.
3 Impedance measurement
Select two points at a certain distance on the surface of the sample, contact them with electrodes, and test the resistance between electrodes.
It is often used in the evaluation of the antistatic properties of clean clothes, computer room antistatic clothing and carpets.
4. Human body voltage measurement method
It is used to test the antistatic properties of decorative fabrics such as carpets and automotive fabrics.
5 Electrostatic adsorption test (Cling) method
The fabric is triboelectrically charged to test the time for the electrostatic force of the fabric to adhere to the metal plate against gravity.
6 Determination of electrostatic decay time (Charge Decay)
Apply a certain voltage (usually 5000V) to the sample, test the voltage induced by the sample, and test the time it takes for the charge to decay by half.
7 Walking (simulated walking) test method
Simulate the way of walking on the test sample, the shoes and the sample are frictionally charged, and the voltage on the human body is tested. Usually used for carpet antistatic performance test.
8 Half-life assay
The principle is that after the sample is charged to a stable state in the high-voltage electrostatic field, the high-voltage power supply is disconnected, and the voltage is naturally attenuated through the grounded metal table. Test the time it takes for its voltage to decay to half its initial value. Technical grade requirements for half-life performance: Grade A≤1.0S Grade B≤5.0S Grade C≤15.0S. Anti-static work clothes should reach A-level indicators, and daily clothing (functional) should reach B and C-level indicators.
9 Ash Test
The triboelectrically charged sample is brought close to the dust, and the degree of dust adsorption is judged.
10. Frictional charge attenuation method
Japanese antistatic fabric test method standard, add a certain voltage (usually 5000V), use cotton and wool friction cloth to rub the sample automatically, output voltage and curve at the same time, get half-life and static voltage. Fabrics containing conductive fibers can be scientifically tested.
